Graham Butler

On Sunday 24 September, Ferndown Golf Club played host to our annual Graham Butler Trophy. This 36-hole medal event was renamed in memory of Graham Butler a notable past member of Ferndown and a successful club and county player who won the Dorset County Championship 10 times between 1959 and 1978.

Congratulations to Ryan Henley, Lawrence Cherry, Danny Coombs & Sam Talbot from Stoneham Golf Club who won the Graham Butler Trophy with a score of 306, 2 shots clear of runners-up Ferndown Golf Club, represented by Harry Mitchel, Danny Murray, Steve Sidney & Styrmir Gudmundsson.

Congratulations also go to Pete Corrick & Adan Yates from Parkstone Golf Club who won 'Best Pair' on countback, with a score of 151 over 36 holes.
